ACHIEVEMENTS

For the past few years of our operation, LenyFas College has achieved the following:

  • The College has developed  the Curriculum Framework for its Diploma in Junior Primary Teacher Education, conformed with the National Teaching Professional standard of Namibia (the key stakeholders input letter serves as evidence);
  • The Ministry of Education, Art and Culture has issued the support/endorsement  letter for the Diploma in Junior Primary Teacher Education offered by  LenyFas College of Andragogy ;
  • On account of School Based Studies, the Ministry of Education, Art and Culture has issued an letter authorization  letter to LenyFas College;
  • This would help students to conduct  the School Based Studies in Government schools; 
  • The Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare  has issued the support/endorsement  letter for the Diploma in Junior primary Teacher Education offered by  LenyFas College of Andragogy ;
  • The National Commission Research Science & Technology (NCRST) has issued the letter of endorsement for the Diploma in Junior Primary teacher Education offered by LenyFas College of Andragogy;
  • For the purpose of Physical Education Module(s)’s outside classroom activities, LenyFas College of Andragogy has entered into a Memorandum of  Understanding with the City of Windhoek (COW) to utilize the  Sport Facilities which  belongs to the Windhoek Municipality ;
  • The International University of Management (IUM) has issued the Qualification  Articulation Arrangement to LenyFas College of Andragogy for Diploma in Junior Primary Teacher Education. 
  • The Articulation  Arrangement would help students to avoid repeating the same modules which they have done already at the diploma level;
  • The International University of Management has rated Level 7 for the Diploma in Junior Primary Teacher Education offered by the LenyFas College of Andragogy;
  • The IUM rate confirmed that the Diploma in Junior Primary Teacher Education offered by the LenyFas College of Andragogy is equivalent in the curriculum content and credits with the international university of Management’s Bachelor of Education in pre-and Junior Primary Education ; 
  • The College has appointed the Quality Assurance Officer;
  • The College has Formulated the Quality Management Policies;
  • The college has appointed the Advisory Board /Management Committee;
  • The Management Committee has ensured that the records of changes were maintained to reflect the last update of all Management Policies Documents of the College ;
  • The College has tasked  the Management Committee to  review all Management Policies Documents within a 24 month cycle. 
  • The review could form part of the internal audit process as described in Internal Quality Audits policy;
  • The College has managed to create the Management Structure to support the Quality Management System and help the institution to achieve its Mission, Vision,  goals and objectives; 
  • On account of self-review activities, and the audit report has been presented to the relevant authorities. 
  • In terms of schedule 1(2) of the labour Act, 2007 (Act 11 of 2007), the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment has issued a Provisional Compliance Certificate to  LenyFas College of Andragogy ;
  • This followed the site visit which was conducted by the Health and Safety Evaluation Officer from the above ), the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment;
  • On a yearly basis , the City of Windhoek has issued the Fitness Certificate to LenyFas College of Andragogy;
  • The Director has appointed the Health and Safety Representative of the College. 
  • The College has formulated  and implemented the Health and Safety Policy 
  • The College has formulated and implemented the COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures, Procedures and Protocol.
